Hello! My name is Kathryn Jones and I am a sophomore at Washington State University. I am double majoring in multimedia journalism and political science and pursuing a minor in creative writing. I have always loved writing and enjoy keeping up to date on current events and politics, both domestically and internationally. I am especially excited about the upcoming election year!
After graduating I hope to pursue a career in the field of political communication. My dream job would be to work as a White House correspondent and have the opportunity to travel across the country and the world reporting on stories that people care about.
I am originally from a small town outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico. I love spending time outdoors hiking and watching the sun set. In my free time you can find me reading, writing, and practicing yoga. I never go anywhere without my yoga mat and a journal to write down spontaneous thoughts or ideas.
This blog will be used to post media content that I will create over the course of the semester in Com 210. I am excited to create content for this class and learn more about the skills behind multimedia content creation!
